Although Canopy Hardwood was founded 5 years ago, the people behind the company are no strangers to the industry.

Kevin Holmes, who first had the idea for Canopy Hardwood, had years of experience in all areas of the wood flooring industry as a contractor, installer, salesperson, and distributor.  When he first opened his doors he specialized in exotic hardwoods, but it wasn’t long before more requests and sales of all types of wood flooring began to pour in, and Kevin realized he needed to expand his business.  As requests grew in number, the company grew in offerings and staff.

Five years ago, Joel Terry joined Kevin to create Canopy Hardwood.  Joel has more than 15 years of experience building and running a successful hardwood installation company focusing on the wholesale market.
